Ayaka was born in Saitama Prefecture but moved to Tokyo after kindergarten. She became part of a theater company in elementary school and appeared in commercials, stage productions, and TV dramas. After receiving some voice acting lessons in the company, she realized that she wanted to become a voice actress. She got scouted in 2011 by Horipro and began her career. In August 2014, she debuted as a singer with her single "YES!!", which was used as the opening theme for the anime _Sabagebu!_. Her hobbies includes karaoke as well as watching anime, drumming, browsing the internet, gaming, watching sports, and reading light novels. She had drumming skills prior to joining the _Bang Dream_ franchise.
