Kidou Senshi Gundam ZZ
It is the year 0088 of the Universal Century in Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. The badly damaged assault cruiser Argama docks at the run-down space colony of Shangri-La for much-needed repairs. While the Argama is in drydock, a young junk dealer named Judau Ashta sneaks aboard in an attempt to steal the Zeta Gundam. He wants to sell it in order to help his sister, but instead he finds himself coerced into joining the Argama’s crew. Unfortunately for Judau, the Argama is being pursued by a dedicated Neo Zeon officer named Mashymre Cello. In order to protect both his sister and himself, Judau must master the Argama’s newest mobile suit, the ZZ Gundam. (Source: Right Stuf)

Read full review on AniList →Before starting ZZ I noticed online that this series gets a lot of negative feedback. Fans who were outraged to see their favorite characters turned into parodies of themselves. The viewers wanted something more brutal and darker than Zeta and were horrified to see Bright chasing chickens around lik…
Read full review on AniList →I admit I was too hasty in my judgment of Gundam ZZ before watching it, I was too influenced by other people’s opinion. I followed the advice of several people, that said I could easily skip ZZ… so I did it after finishing Zeta and i was planning to watch it much later; however, I felt I was missing…
Read full review on AniList →~~~img220(https://i.imgur.com/FgP3xBT.png) Saying I was left aghast after the ending of Zeta is an understatement. I thought what a tragic, and non-glamorous way to depict war. Murdering the innocent, using the lives of family as blackmail, backstabbing, making brash decisions in the heat of the mo…
Read full review on AniList →If you were expecting ZZ to be a straight sequel to Zeta, you've been mislead. Many people don't get over that initial subversion, and write this series off, or even call it skippable. But if you push past your (honestly, very understandable) surprise that following the intense and depressing final…
Read full review on AniList →Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ is a direct sequel to Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, but is fairly unlike its predecessor. Consequently, your experience with Zeta is likely to have a strong influence on your reaction to ZZ. If you really enjoyed Zeta's fairly bleak tone and ambiguous, heavy character drama, the fir…
