Dynazenon outshines its predecessor immensely, being bigger, better and overall a joy to watch.
When it comes to sequels there are only a few out there that I can say with the utmost confidence, outshine their predecessors by miles away. There is _The Dark Knight Rises_, _The Empire Strikes Back_ and even _Shrek 2_. And now __SSSS.Dynazenon__ has fallen into that category for me.

__~~~Scarred Souls Shine like Stars~~~__
I’ve been wondering what SSSS stood for. Along with this being the biggest reveal in the franchise, I really enjoyed Dynazenon, even more so than I did with Gridman, due to a combination of its directing, powerful an…

'Scarred Souls Shine Like Stars'. It's the thesis statement of this series, summed up in one line, and it's brilliant- just like the meaning of SSSS for Gridman!
The character cast is really what makes Dynazenon so strong, and every single one has something emotional and impactful going on.

Read full review on AniList →One half bombastic and flashy, the other half thoughtful and quiet, Studio Trigger delivers an absolute gem.
Studio Trigger is a studio I always want to root for because of their flare, ambition, and their frequent anime originals. However, many of their anime stumble in the latter half of their episodes because they forgot that there is a plot that needs to get going, and as a result I am always doubtful…

Not long ago, I had watched the previous season, SSSS.Gridman, so I remembered that I didn’t like the sequel much, mainly because of how different they are from each other. However, rewatching it made me realize that this installment also has a lot to offer, although I still like SSSS.Gridman much m…

Past regrets, finding a purpose in life, and moving forward. SSSS.Dynazenon effectively conveys a vast range of emotion with masterclass creativity and superb writing. Dynazenon does not strive to emulate the classics. Instead, it confidently crafts its own niche in the mecha genre—inhabiting a ****…

*some spoilers for SSSS.Gridman, as SSSS.Dynazenon is a distant sequel that's best experienced with the context of Gridman*
SSSS.Dynazenon is an impressive follow-up to 2018's SSSS.Gridman. It improves on all of the visual elements of its predecessor while having a far superior cast that gets explo…

unpopular opinion incoming. (spoilers obviously.)
S.S.S.S. Dynazenon is the sequel to Trigger's 2018 remake of Gridman that really succeeded in originality, foreshadowing, mystery, hints, and a great villain. Dynazenon pretty much takes the animation from S.S.S.S. Gridman and leaves everything that…
