ザ・ハイロウズ

The High-Lows were a popular Japanese punk rock band that was formed in 1995. The band stopped all activities in November 2005 and broke up. The band was popular since the very beginning, as vocalist Koumoto Hiroto and guitarist Mashima Masatoshi were both central members in THE BLUE HEARTS, which had recently broken up. The band consisted of vocalist Koumoto Hiroto, guitarrist Mashima Masatoshi, bassist Shirabe Sakito, drummer Oshima Kenji and keyboardist Shirai Mikio. This lineup remained the same until 2003 when Shirai Mikio —whowas also related to The Blue Hearts, for which he had been a support member— left the band.
