Hiroshi Shirai is a Japanese CG artist, animator and director. He was formerly affiliated with [Gonzo](https://anilist.co/studio/3/GONZO). After graduating from Digital Hollywood, he joined Gonzo's digital division and contributed in the CGI animation production for many of Gonzo's projects, those including [Blue Submarine No. 6](https://anilist.co/anime/1051/Blue-Submarine-No-6/), [Melty Lancer THE ANIMATION](https://anilist.co/anime/1155/Melty-Lancer-THE-ANIMATION/), [Vandread](https://anilist.co/anime/180/Vandread/) and [Yukikaze](https://anilist.co/anime/1080/Yukikaze/). In 2009, when Gonzo sold its digital division to Q-tec. He along with 24 other former Gonzo employees became part of the newly established animation studio [Graphinica](https://anilist.co/studio/894/Graphinica) and has remained there since.
