Kenzou Masaoka

政岡憲三

A second-generation animator. He is probably most famous for creating the earliest anime to use cell animation and sound. In 1948, he founded Nihon Douga Eiga (now known as [Toei Animation](https://anilist.co/studio/18/Toei-Animation)) alongside [Sanae Yamamoto](https://anilist.co/staff/125833). Masaoka was born in Osaka, Japan and died in Tokyo, Japan.
