Futari wa Precure
Nagisa Misumi and Honoka Yukishiro couldn't be more different. Nagisa is sporty and Honoka bookish, and while they attend the same school, they have very little in common - until one day, a shower of shooting stars brings two very unlikely visitors into their lives: Mipple and Mepple, refugees from the Garden of Light, which has been conquered by Darkness. Endowed with new and startling powers, Nagisa and Honoka become Cure Black and Cure White, magical defenders of the light - together, they are Pretty Cure. (Source: Anime News Network)

Read full review on AniList āI'm not sure how much Toei had planned for Pretty Cure, but I really doubt that, at the time of this review, they expected it to be already close to start its 16th entry with Star Twinkle. In my way to watch all the franchise it finally came the time to tackle the original, which did a solid job buiā¦
Read full review on AniList āWhile looking back after watching the rest of the franchise, Futari wa has become my least favorite seasons of Precure. However that is more of a sign of how much later entries would improve upon its foundations. That being said, FW is still a good mahou shoujo considering it was enough to get me reā¦
Read full review on AniList ā***Spoilers Aesthetics: I really enjoy the early 2000s art style of this season. The character designs have a lot of charm, and many of the outfits are genuinely cute. Cure Black's design is easily my favorite; it's simple but memorable and stands out. Plot: The story is a bit of a mixed bag. Therā¦
