Yuri Kuma Arashi
At some point, somewhere in outer space, the small planet Kumalia exploded. As the particles of what used to be Kumalia showered upon Earth as a meteor shower, for some reason all the bears on earth stood up to attack humanity! In due time, a great "Wall of Extinction" was built between humans and bears, and they could no longer show aggression towards one another... One morning, Kureha Tsubasa and Sumika Izumino were alone watching lily flowers blooming. Just then, a Bear Warning pierces loudly through the air! Mystery brings on more mysteries, a series of one raging blow after another! (Source: Crunchyroll)

This time the master artist has lesbians, bears and storms in…

I like things like The Tatami Galaxy, Psycho-Pass, and Mushi-shi, where there's a heavy intellectual and/or artistic level to them. So I went into my first Kunihiko Ikuhara show with fairly strong expectations, since it sounded and looked like I w…

Read full review on AniList →__~~~_Select spoilers lay within_~~~__ Rife with allegories to the point it's suffocating on itself, Yurikuma Arashi seeks to tackle homophobia and societal exclusion, illustrated with the subtlety of a bear paw to the face. Now, I did overall enjoy watching it - as a gay man who has been a loner m…
