Read full review on AniList →Not so long ago, in the mysterious land of Toronto, Canada, Scott Pilgrim was dating a high schooler. Well, I mean, they were dating, but they were also kind of not dating. They haven’t kissed or hugged or anything, but they held hands once. She was also a fan of the band he was in, because yeah,…
Read full review on AniList →Scott Pilgrim Vs The World is my favorite movie of all time. Yeah, I don’t watch that many movies but I was just simply in love with the cast of ******* irredeemable characters and the whole unshameful nerdy fan service that felt like the most tasteful way to do it. Needless to say, I was hyped that…
Read full review on AniList →~~~~~~~~~Scott Pilgrim just got a new anime adaptation and boy is it a doozy. It is pretty good and here are my thoughts.~~~ ~~~The only thing I've seen from the franchise before was the movie made in 2010, the one with Michael Cera in the main role. It is a very well made movie, it's funny and the…
Read full review on AniList →I want to get this out of the way you've probably been hearing a lot of crazy rumors about Scott Pilgrim Takes Off that it's disrespectful to the source material or that it's some "woke" rewrite that kills off the main character in the first episode and replaces him with Ramona for no reason so I'd…
Read full review on AniList →Who knew the title was literal? Not me, but it's a pleasant surprise. Scott Pilgrim, in all its forms, will always be eternal. But this is a fun sequel and rehash of what could have been if Scott Pilgrim wasn't itself. What if the series wasn't about wacky fights against evil exes? What if Scott Pil…
Read full review on AniList →Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is not a faithful adaptation of the Scott Pilgrim comics. It does not follow the story but rather tells it's own in animated form. That is the most important thing everyone who wants to watch Scott Pilgrim Takes Off needs to know. As someone that didn't read the comics befor…

Read full review on AniList →__This review contains spoilers for the anime, comic, and movie. __ Scott Pilgrim Takes Off was marketed as a faithful adaptation of the comic. Read full review on AniList →_Scott Pilgrim Takes Off_ hits the ground running as a fresh reimagining of the _Scott Pilgrim_ canon, but falters for the remaining stretch where it dons the mask of a detective who’s clearly _never_ been a detective before. Read full review on AniList →I was one of the people who first heard of Scott Pilgrim IP from the 2010 film adaptation. I remember watching that film at my place with my father and remember liking it for being a quirk love letter to the gaming culture.
