The story follows the "indecipherable" daily life of the short and quiet Reina Aharen and Raidou who sits next to her. Aharen is not so good at gauging the distance between people, and Raidou initially felt some distance between the two of them. One day, when Raidou picked up the eraser that Aharen had dropped, the distance between them suddenly became uncomfortably close. (Source: Anime News Network)

It’s iyashikei greatness. This isn’t your normal run of the mill rom-com, it’s more a slice of life of two classmates, and then it gets a little romantic. Raido’s vivid imagination and Toubaru-Sensei nose bleeding just makes me smile, and I don’t know why. Maybe I’m just a sucker for deadpan humour,…

After returning Aharen's eraser, Raidou notices that the girl…
Read full review on AniList →Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is quite a strange anime that's hard to place in a genre. Drama? It's not very dramatic. In fact it's about as far from dramatic as can be. Slice-of-life? Perhaps, but most of what's happening on screen is so stupid it bears little resemblance to anything that can conceivably…
Read full review on AniList →<p align="justify">Aharen-san Wa Hakarenai is the embodiment of rom-com. From the use of character-focused tropes to build comedy to the progression of Raidou and Aharen's relationship, this anime nails everything. When I rate an anime, I take five categories into consideration: sound/music, visuals…
Read full review on AniList →This review contains minor spoilers. Major spoilers will be marked as so. To summarise, Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is about a high schooler named Raidou and his constant misunderstandings of his quiet classmate Aharen. In each episode, we are greeted with a new situation where Raidou must decipher wha…
Read full review on AniList →__~~~Aharen-san Is Indecipherable~~~__ Ever try watching a rom-com where the romance is painfully dull and the comedy is non-existent? If you want to try for some inexplicable reason, Aharen-san is Indecipherable may be the show for you! I’m going to keep this review short and sweet, because if I sp…
Read full review on AniList →~~~ To formulate my honest review and thoughts, I didn't really like the anime. Characters: Aside from our main characters, most of them were bland and forgettable, I have a strong aversion against these generic type of slice of life characters. In particularly the shy, obsessive stalker girl, go…
Read full review on AniList →The Aharen anime has what I consider a fairly rare mix of features for a slice of life. Iyashikei or wholesome anime isn't the rarest genre but it's fairly uncommon and it's mixed with a kind of... weird dry humor style. Speaking of weird, usually when you think of weird characters in anime they're…
Read full review on AniList →There’s something disarming about a show that arrives with no fanfare, no grand ambitions, and somehow still manages to be thoroughly enjoyable. Aharen Is Indecipherable is, at first glance, yet another romantic comedy centered around an eccentric girl and the quiet boy who learns to understand her.…
Read full review on AniList →~~~img220(https://i.imgur.com/DOGbbTi.png) A lot of romcom manga has been coming as of late, and it’s great! But it can be a bit formulaic at times. Heard this one before? The cast is quirky and the socially inept boy has the highschool’s hottest girl teasing him. What does she see in him? Doesn’t…
