Coming into it I was excited. After all, this was made by the same creators as some of my favorite shows of all time (Death Note and Bakuman), and I was not disappointed. This was one of the greatest shows I have ever seen, and it will be the same for you. Story 10/10 The plot is amazing. No, it i…
Read full review on AniList →__SPOILER-FREE!__ Dark storytelling is a gamble. On the one hand, it allows you to explore aspects of the human condition, action, or philosophy that affords a great wealth of interpretations and territories to explore. On the other hand, with such a giant sandbox to play in, it becomes all the more…
Read full review on AniList →SPOILERS AHEAD! (it won’t ruin the story anymore than it’s ruined itself) Platinum End is a show that I had a ton of hype for. After all, it’s from Tsugumi Ooba, who gave the community amazing works like Bakuman and of course, Death Note. I imagine many of you, including myself, who sat through thi…
Read full review on AniList →#~~~___I mean, this review does contain spoilers, but I don’t think anybody cares if they get spoiled on this.___~~~ ___ The one thing that keeps me interested in watching more anime even when it seems like I am completely burned out from the hobby is that it will never feel like I have finally seen…
Read full review on AniList →Few spoilers ahead as a warning! I went here with nice expectation after finishing the first episode, the premise seemed generic but I though it could have lead me to something that was either going to be decent or utter trash but still highly entertaining. Took me only few episodes later to realiz…
Read full review on AniList →It seemed interesting, that’s the attitude I had towards Platinum End when I decided to watch this show. Now that’s it’s done, I’m probably better off to be honest. This had some promise early on, but quickly that sentiment left. Despite having a comparatively stronger second half, the ending does n…
Read full review on AniList →Platinum End…..oh Platinum End…..reviewing this show was such a pain because there are a lot of high concept things in this show to critique, and as the show goes on,instead of falling apart,it adds more things just to collapse in on itself and make a giant Black Hole of things. And it's honestly exha…
Read full review on AniList →~~~<a>I normally intend for my reviews to be spoiler-free, but not for this one. After 24 long and painful episodes, it's finally time for this show to receive my reckoning. I'm about to bring down the hammer of judgment on this pile of garbage. If you haven't seen Platinum End yet, but wish to, I s…
Read full review on AniList →As terrible as Platinum End is overall, it did get very interesting much later before the ending and presented a lot of ideas worth discussing. Yet, I cannot deny that I could not stand Mirai at first. He successfully became one of the worst protagonists I'd ever seen out of how annoyingly naïve he…
Read full review on AniList →This is more like a complaint than a review. __Major spoilers!__ # General I will start by saying that this anime is rated 18+ but it’s only for the sexual content, suicidal ideation, religious topics and maybe the little bit of gore. I’m saying “only” because this is not an adult story at all, eve…
